what to expect
NEW TO THE SUMMIT?
We are so glad you are interested in becoming part of our church family!
Look, we get it, going to a new church can be overwhelming and sometimes intimidating. It's hard to know how to dress, where to go, and what to expect. That's why we have a Connection Team at the ready every Sunday morning to greet you, answer any questions, and help you get where you need to be!
DO YOU HAVE KIDS OR TEENS?
The more, the merrier! We are happy to offer options for your kids, from babies all the way up through high school, we've got you covered!
Sunday School for Pre-School thru High School is at 10am, the same time as our service.
Our Sunday School Building is located behind our main building. We ask parents to bring their kids and sign them in for Sunday School. And of course, if your kids aren't quite comfortable with Sunday School just yet, they are always welcome to sit in service with you!
Our Nursery is located in the main building, right by the sanctuary.
You are more than welcome to sign-in and drop off your little ones up to age 4 here for the duration of the service!
Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear to attend your services?
Here at The Summit you will see people dressed in jeans and a t-shirt just as much as you will see people dressed in suits and dresses. Come as you are and don't stress about how you're dressed.
Do you have parking?
Yep! We have a large parking lot with plenty of space. There are new visitor spots just for you if you'd like! We also happen to have an espresso stand right in our parking lot if you have a craving for good coffee on your way in!
What should I expect during the service?
We love to meet new people at The Summit, but we will never ask you to stand up or raise your hand as a visitor. We do have a short greeting time during the service where we say hello to the people around us; don't worry, only do what you're comfortable with! Other than that, expect lots of praise and worship and a great sermon. We take an offering each weekend, but we never expect our visitors to participate. Once a month we have communion.
What about my children?
Kids from Pre-K through 12th grade are more than welcome to join us over in the Sunday School Building during service on Sunday morning at 10am. Parents need to sign in their kids and check them out after service is over.
Little ones up to age four have a great nursery team to hang out with during service. They will need to be signed in and signed back out by you.
